As entregas devem ser concluídas até 28 de fevereiro de 2018.

No último dia 26 de janeiro o Departamento de Defesa americano publicou em seu portal a informação dando conta de que a Boeing tinha recebido um contrato de valor fixo no valor de US$ 295,8 milhões para fornecimento de 8 helicópteros de ataque AH-64E Apache Guardian para Indonésia.

Em 2012, quando a aquisição foi anunciada pela primeira vez pelo governo dos EUA, o valor total do negócio foi estimado em aproximadamente US$ 500 milhões, o que sugere que em breve haverá contratos adicionais para cobrir apoio logístico s e armamentos.

Com a venda, o governo americano espera fortalecer ainda mais os laços de segurança com este que é o maior país do Sudeste Asiático, além se ser o mais populoso país de maioria muçulmana do mundo (87,2% da população em 2010), sendo a maioria de muçulmanos sem denominação.
